    IT centric is a set of tools that will be used by people having IT skills like developpers or architects. for IBM ODM, the tools are Rule Designer(eclipse) , Event Designer (eclipse) as well as the Decision Server Console (Web interface)

    Business centric refers to all the tools that will be used by non IT people like business analysts, LOB experts or policy managers. In IBM ODM, the tools are in particular the new Business Console of the Decision Center, the enterprise Console or MS Word with Rule Solution for Office .
