    RS-6000 was re-branded pSeries and then later System p, but there is no difference as far as AIX goes.

    It would be a good idea to load the latest fixes while they are still available, so I'd get the post ML9 bundle as well.

    Some of the later RS-6000 machines can run AIX up to 5.3.
