I can create assets from Asset template application, and apply PM, classification etc.

Can I apply all those date from Asset application, as I press "New asset", then in that Asset template field select value and apply all those template data, when creating new asset in Asset application?

Yes, it is possible but with an automation script probably. When entering the template you can copy the attributes to the asset object. Have to follow the business rules of the Asset Template Application though. Although, I would suggest not to do that and still utilise the OOB Asset Template which would allow you to create even a single asset

But it is still strange, that there is possibility to chose template on new asset, but it does nothing. I thought, that it should have been as default functionality.

OK, it could be restricted later, when it is saved.
