    Hi @RACHEL SU,

Thanks for Webinar and slides. You mentioned during webinar that it's possible to generate query for each Query in Reporting Interface. However, I don't see this option:
    QuerySQL
If I use Generate SQL options, it generates for all queries in a report. For complex report, this is time taking activity after each change.

It's painful to copy it to other report and create a list and then use generat SQL for report level. Am I missing any other option to be able to generate SQL only for one query like Classic Viewer Mode?

     Thanks for inputs!

    Hi Buddhi,

You are correct this property is missing at individual query level when using a data module as the source. When using FM packages, this property is available.

We do have a list of properties not exposed in reporting when using data module as the source. Mainly due to some missing APIs at the early stage of data module development. Now we are near ready to revisit all the important properties and expose them in the product again. This is on our list to implement.

Thanks @RACHEL SU for response. Is it going to be available on CA 11.1.7 or as part of CA 11.2?

We are trying to use Data Module instead of Packages to decrease time to develop and troubleshooting; however, these gaps increase time in analysis for issues and validation steps.

Hi Rachel, thank you for the video. The sound is quite bad. I would appreciate subtitles. Was the first showcase based on Data tables? I see you are using Firefox, is the last version supported?

    hi Josef,

Sorry to hear the audio isn't great. It must be the platform. We will look into it for the future.

The data table I demonstrated is available in 11.1.6 and 11.1.7. I used Firefox and we support Firefox ESR 68 and future fix packs.

    Hi @RACHEL SU

Thank you for your presentation, below are my questions/comments:

    1. When will customization based on Cognos Groups be made available?
    2. Those of us wanting to upgrade, but not in a rush, should we wait for 11.2?
    3. While I understand the move towards Carbon Design, I much prefer the blue bar, blue theme UI.

    Hi Richard,

    1. Customization based on groups is not on our short term roadmap. I highly recommend customers to use our Ideas portal to vote on features like this. It will help us prioritize features with high demands.
    2. I wouldn't wait for 11.2. I think 11.1.7 is a great option consider it's LTS and with lots new features. 11.2.0 will have some UI changes.
    3. The blue theme will still be part of the product and it will not change on customers automatically. The new theme is an option under customization.

    Hi @RACHEL SU,

We don't have ability to copy text from Interactive Viewer outputs how we can do with Classic Viewer Output. Is there any plan to bring this useful and frequently used functionality to Interactive Mode as well?

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    Hi Buddhi,

Not sure if you've seen the two RFEs for this.  But each are more than a year old.  I made sure to vote either way and hope they do it soon!

Thanks Jeremy! I voted for it. However, wanted to know if there is any immediate plan for this missing functionality from Cognos 10.

    Hi Rachel,

Thank you for providing the links to the slide deck and recording.

You had mentioned that there is a 11.1.7 fix pack coming that may have some additional features that hadn't shipped when 11.1.7 had shipped. Do you have a ETA on when it will be available?

    Thanks
