Hi,

I have the below scenario. Please help me with a solution in Maximo.

1. There is a Job Plan with 30 hours duration
2. Job Plan is associated to PM record which is due tomorrow (3/19/21)
3. PM record is set with Interruptible=1 and Crew Workgroup=XYZ
3. As per OOB: WO generated will have Target Start Date: 3/19/21 10:00 AM and Target Finish date: 3/20/21 4:00 PM though the PM is set for Interruptible=1
4. Expected outcome: Crew Workgroup can be associated with a calendar/ shift of 9 hrs each day
5. WO shall be generated with Target Start Date: 3/19/21 10:00 AM and Target Finish Date: 3/24/21 11:00 AM (considering shift starts at 8 AM and of duration 9 hrs and weekly holidays on Saturdays/ Sundays

Is there a feasible configurable solution in Maximo PM and WO for this above scenario?

Please suggest.

Hi,

I work in Maximo Scheduler support.   To do what you are describing you will need to process the WO through Graphical Scheduling.   It is the place in Maximo where we tie all the pieces you describe; Interruptible, Crew calendar/shift and Target Start; together and figure out the real schedule finish.   Once you have the dates the way you want them to be in scheduler you then Commit them back to the WO.  

To manage the assignments directly you will then need to use either Graphical Assignment or Graphical Work Week.
