    If we have to make a decision whether to choose between CA on cloud vs Planning analytics, which one is preferred?
    Now that, CA cloud also offers forecasting feature, what additional capabilities will Planning analytics offers which is not offered by CA on cloud?

    AFAIK, Cognos Analytics (CA) is more a BI fashioned tool while Planning Analytics (PA) is a sofisticated forecasting tool. If you need a very good planning tool with some options for reporting go with PA, if you need a BI tool with alot of options of reporting and dashboarding and very few forecasting options go with CA and ask for a technical seller more than a pure seller (those who can sell glases to a blind)
