When we burst reports, is there any way to remove report name and 'en-us'  from generated file name and keeping only Burst Label we define?

Hi Buddhi,

there may be no way to remove the local descriptor automatically generated by the Cognos Service.

However, it's possible to use a post processing script to rename and do other processing (e.g., http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21607713 and http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21370781

Thank you Steve for links! In Cognos Analytics 11.1.3 Cloud , we don't have option to save to File system.  In my view, Like Other Azure Cloud Services, I think Changing File Name dynamically using Data Items should be enabled to reduce dependencies on external tools to achieve the functionality.

While bursting the Reports,when I assign a data item the value of the data item is not appearing in e-mail subject line.As an alternative tried with Event studio to schedule reports the file naming option is not working properly.

Can someone guide me in changing the file name while Bursting the reports?
