CA 11.0.13

We have plans to retire IE as a supported browser and move to Edge at a similar time as to when we upgrade to CA 11.1.7.

For Cognos, we use Chrome as our browser of choice, but IE for a few other necessary functions (Event Studio, for example).

Does anyone know the how Active Reports (.mht files) can be processed without IE?
Do .mht files open in Edge?
Is there another browser that works?

Are there any other impacts for us retiring IE?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Eventstudio is not working in Edge (the buttons are dissapeared). 
Many companies wil replace IE with Edge the coming weeks. I hope IBM will come with a solution.

I hope IBM is listening too!

Active Reports (.mht files) and Event Studio are critical functionalities of our Cognos environment.
