BESClient cannot detect the installed IBM software

  • 1.  BESClient cannot detect the installed IBM software

    Posted Wed January 26, 2022 10:26 PM

    Hello,

I have installed IBM FilenNet ContentSearchServices 5.5.7 and BESClient 9.5.18 on server with RHEL8.4. Unfortunately the software scanner does not detect the mentioned IBM software. I don't know why? I checked that there is no .swidtag file in CSS installation directory, mayby this is the problem. The previous version of CSS 5.5.2 has .swidtag file. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

    Regards,

    Tom

    Hi Tom

Please check what version of CIT scanner are you using to run the scanners?

Please try to see the IBM FileNet Content Service install directory if its excluded ?

If the above does not resolve the issue please raise a case in Salesforce.

    Thanks
