What are other Resilient users doing for DR and/or backups? 

I'm weighing the pros and cons of setting up a new DR system, versus just running a backup nightly.  I know I'd have less data loss if I setup the DR system, but it also seems like a lot of configuration and extra maintenance.  That extra maintenance and setup time could be used instead to implement new integrations, build new playbooks, etc.

I appreciate any insight you have!

Hi Brian,

I'll leave it to real users to comment on the operational overhead of DR. From my simplified perspective, its the initial setup effort, and the extra effort for each upgrade.

That aside, having a warm standby should have you back in action a lot quicker than the resolution of the DR event and resuming service from the original appliance. DR is about the combination of both minimising data loss as well as minimising downtime.
