    I've known about this effort for a while, but the gag order has been lifted as IBM and Amazon announce AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) for Db2. This is a fully managed database service for Db2. I was lucky enough to be part of the Beta testing program and get a sneak peek at what it can do.
