MAM 7.6.1.2:

In the Assignment Manager application, I can manually assign a crew to a WO:




Instead of manually assigning crews to WOs, I want to automatically assign a crew to certain WOs, based on the WO classification.

• For example, if the WO classification is ROADS \ ASPHALT \ ASPHALT- LARGE CREW, then I want the ROADS crew to be automatically assigned.

I tried creating a Job Plan that has a WO classification and a Crew specified:


But if I use that JP on a WO, it just applies the Crew to the WORKORDER.AMCREW field (in the Responsibility section at the bottom of the Work tab in WOTRACK).
It doesn't apply the Crew to the assignments tab of the WO. So I don't think that helps me much (I use assignments for my Anywhere queries).

How can I automatically assign a crew to certain kinds of WOs?

Hi,

You can add crew as 'Planned Labors' on jobplan.  When the job plan is applied, this will create 'Planned Labor' entry as well as corresponding assignment on the workorder.
