  • 1.  Automated Low Code Regression testing

    Is anyone using a tool to develop regressions test scripts for Cognos Analytics using a recordable low code/no code tool?  We have 100's of projects,  1000"s of users and 100,000's of reports and dashboards making upgrades a slow process while we allow time for regression testing. Many teams do not perform tests and then have problems in production.  Looking for recommendations on tools that we can investigate to reduce this time and cost.

    Hi,

    IBM has deprecated Cognos LifeCycle Manager, but if you have an installer, might be usefull for you.

    It's is the same installer of Cognos Clients, if I'm not wrong.

    Or you can use Motio, I guess it was bought by IBM.

    Thanks for the suggestions.  We want to avoid Lifecycle Manager as it is deprecated and we are trying to build up a future facing solution that we can grow over time.
