    Has anyone tried using asynchronous attribute formulas in Maximo? If so, how did it go?
    It seems like it could be a handy technique for running a slow calculation in the background.

    On a side note:
    I wonder if asynchronous attribute formulas could be used to run automation scripts asynchronously. That might be a handy technique, since it sounds like asynchronous automation scripts are difficult to implement: Working example of asynchronous automation script? (7.6.1.2)

    Asynchronous Evaluation would allow inserting information without being interrupted and change the incorrect values only after having filled the other fields. Usually we require the validation instantaneously so we keep the field unchecked so on tab out the validation is triggered and errors are resolved before proceeding further.
