Applying Revised Data Sheets to Work Order

  • 1.  Applying Revised Data Sheets to Work Order

Maximo Out of the box does not allow a revised record  like Data Sheets to be applied to the Workorder
We have a use case where the plan wants to apply a newer version of Data Sheet to be applied to the WO if the Work order is not complete so that engineering has the latest Calibration data.
Has anyone had similar requirements and if yes how did you made it work ?

    Ravi,

My understanding of Calibration, as a practice, is that you have the Data Sheet Template, which when applied to a work order provides you a vehicle to capture "as found" and "as left" Calibration "work".  In other words when you perform work on a Calibrated Asset you by definition capture the latest Calibration information for that asset as evidenced by the "as left" readings.  Please provide more clarity on what your use case scenario is.
