Getting an error message on IM "Maximo Anywhere App Container must have internet access" I have internet access on this server. Is it possible to bypass this requirements ? if not what are the url's that are being used to verify internet access when installing the container ?

    Thanks.

    Jefferson,

I don't believe so, you may be able to bypass the prerequisites though.

In a command prompt enter 'set BYPASS_PRS=true'. then launch the installer from the same command prompt.  If Linux or MAC it would be export BYPASS_PRS=true.

Is there a reason you can't hit ibm.com but can hit google.com?  Could you redirect it to your local ip via the host file to get past the error?

Yeah there is a reason why we have access to specific urls. I will try the host file redirect not sure if that will be feasible on my end.

Redirect to local host doesn't get past the error as well.

Nobel sorry for late reply ,

    - We have a proxy on our corporate network we added these values to the IBMIM\InstallationManager\eclipse\launcher.ini -DJavax.net.ssl.truststore=D:/jdsk1.8.0_181/jre/lib/security/cacerts , DJavax.net.ssl.truststorePassword=xxx
-Then launch the bypass prereq check using launcher.exe and not the IBMIM.exe

    Hi Jefferson,

It would be great to know how you resolved the issue for the knowledge of the community members. I am thinking this could be an issue a lot of people would face.

    Thanks
