    Was just chatting with Evan Rusackas of the Apache Superset project.
    This open source project is browser-based data visualization which some of us IBM i folks hope could replace Web Query for Db2.
    Evan confirmed that Apache Superset will be at TechXchange 2025 in Orlando.

    this is very interesting.  I suppose it would be a ton of work to get running on IBM i.
    do you know if there is active work being done to get running on ppc64le ?   I tried a docker image and one does not exist for power linux.

    We discussed is some on IBMiOSS on Ryver last year.

    Probably could be made to run on Power.

    Currently when I run it, I run it on Linux and connect to the IBM i.

    We are using CD Query from CD Invest. I believe it is built on Apache Superset and is running on our IBMi - I don't know the exact details of how. We've rebuilt most of our DB2 Web Query reports and dashboards. We are happy with it, but I have noticed that it does not contain some features that are available in the newest versions of Superset.

    Hi Lori,

    CD-Query is composed by two tools: one based in Apache Superset and the "original" CD-Query, a really cool Wizard based reporting and modernization tool with drilldowns on queries, possibility of integrate with other applications, export as json, excel or services... 

    Regarding the SuperSet based tool, it will be updated to the new version once IBM will release the RUST compiler for IBM i.
