What I normally do is, in the given application, I set the log level to 3 or higher. This is found on (usually) line 8. I have found, if the log level is set to zero you do not get very much information in the app. Then in the app, when you navigate to your settings to set you logging up you can then choose Debug. At that point you should then be able to see the debit lines in your log. This is also true when you look at it through your Chrome Inspect Developer Tools, on the console log windows.
