    Please will you clarify the best approach for Analyzer migration with multiple repositories sharing the same GKB. Adopting the phased migration process and stopping the Analyzer before the first migration but unclear when to restart / upgrade the Analyzer task.

    Hi Martin,

    If you are migrating from V8.2 to V8.3 you will need to maintain the V8.2 GKB for the repositories that will migrate later. A new V8.3 GKB would have to be created.

    The V 8.3 Analyzer can be started after the first repository migrates (including GKB load). The Analyzer identifies the repository and GKB databases at start-up. You can run both the V8.2 and V8.3 Analyzers in parallel by specifying different ports for each one. The V8.3 Analyzer will not select V8.2 repositories.
