    Good Day Everyone,

    This is the first post, so hopefully it makes sense...

     

    I agree with the comments on placing tasks in the LD, one other consideration is that the field is editable, when considering any Safety, Regulatory or compliance items this could be an issue.

    From experience, we could see the dangers of large task lists, they could become a 'tick & flick' issue.

    As an interim, and until we have the Inspections Application, we have added both Manuals and Forms as attachments (via URL) to the Job Plans/PMs etc.

    Task Summary

    Task LD

    For a manual

    Carry out Major Service

    As per Manual Section 7.6.2 attached

    For an Inspection Form

    Carry out work as per Inspection template

    Attach completed Form to Work Order

    This means that the records are available in the work order, downside is that you may want manually copy the record to an external record storage
