  • 1.  alerts for statements

according the dmc roadmap there is :
Smart alerts for query optimization | Track most expensive queries and get analysis on how to optimize the system

any idea where to find this, or how to activate this (we have 3.1.1.0 and according the doc it was implmented in that level)
    Aha! Presentation | Aha!

    Hello Guy,

We have a number of smart alerts implemented in DMC. You can activate and configure them from Monitor profile page:

Some of the smart alerts available:
    "Statement performance"

"Increased table lock wait and lock timeout event hit rate"

    "Buffer pool hit ratio degrades"

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    thanks for the info
but statement performance is only comparing to other runs of the same statement
so if it has always been bad it does not alert.  would it not be better to alert if some thresholds are exceeded like execution time, or timerons ..?
for the moment dmc is very limited in giving info that can be used to analyze problems.  also the help on screens or elements is very limited.
    maybe in next release ?
    best regards, Guy
