    Just after all 100's of "IBM" appear on the screen, hit "1" a few times.
    You should enter SMS menus.

    "5" takes you to boot options - follow your nose and try to boot of the first disk.

    I re-installed the OS, but still whenever the box reboots, the box is going into Diagnostics mode.

    I would also check the boot-list order, but I if I remember correctly (which is a miracle) I had this problem and it was because I was enabling multi-boot.

    If I had the screens in front of me I would be more specific.
