    a copy of it. With that license you should be able to get the latest version from
    a sales rep or via Electronic Entitlement. There is a way to download AIX but
    it requires that entitlement (not free).

    if your company displays a significant prospect of future business with ibm because of
    a) you as a sw vendor have a successful software on the market and want to port to or test on aix
    b) you as an enduser company have hardware/os from a different unix vendor today and consider a switch to ibm

    there is zero problem to have ibm give you remote access to hardware and testing ground that is proportional in size and time to the prospect revenue you're gonna bring.
