Hi, 

We have requirement to set the ~NULL~ value in a custom filed on the ASSET -> Advanced Search Field. I have added the following line under the clientarea
<defaultvalue dataattribute="opdate" datasrc="mainrecord" defaulttype="query" id="asset_opdate_dflt" value="~NULL~"/>

imported the XML but it is not displaying ~NULL~ in the OPDATE field. Is it possible to use maximo operators as the default values in the application designer ?

Is the problem with normal search results if the field is not explicitly listed as NULL or is there another reason for the requirement. 

Just trying to explore what other options you may have to get the same results.

Hi Jason, 

I have used Install Date as a reference field. Our customer has few custom date fields. These custom date fields are populated through a process. We would like to give this option to customer that by default have ~NULL~ value in those custom date fields so that Maximo should not bring up those records. Otherwise every time user have to enter ~NULL~ value in the advanced search custom date fields.
