  • 1.  Access to Cognos Analytics technotes

    Greetings!

    I did not try to look for Cognos technotes for a while. Now it is asking to Login with  IBM id to view a technote.

    For example, I get a list of links on the Cognos 101  

    If I try to access any link ( e.g. https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7159924 )  I am prompted to login.

    I login with my personal IBM id and then I get this message:

    Oh no! It looks like you've hit a roadblock.

    You are not authorized to view the requested IBM Software Support page.

    Please review that you have a valid product entitlement or try refreshing your browser cache.

    How can I request access to these technotes?

    I did reach out to IBM support and got this answer:

    Hello Andrei,

    Please note that we are unable to process support cases submitted from personal email addresses.

    We kindly ask that you open a new case using your official company email address.

    This case will be closed.

    Why would they limit access to the technotes???

    I'm not able to access the technote link you provided, get the same error message as you. However, I'm able to access all the links from https://www.ibm.com/community/101/cognos-analytics/technotes/ I tried.
