    Hello everyone.

Is it possible to unlock objects using fastmap and not select the check box of each object that we want to unlock?

Looking for this information in documentation, I do not have found information about this possibility.

We are using OpenPages version 9.0.0.

    Best Regards,

    Bruno Aquino

    HI

You can't unlock objects using FastMap unfortunately.

You can unlock multiple records at a time in the grid page for an Object e.g. Issues. Simply go to the objects grid page, filter for all the records you want to unlock, click select all  (Note: you you might need to change to page size first if there are many records) and then click the unlock button in the upper right.

However, if you want to unlock many thousands of records then this approach might not be practical and so some companies have built customisations that do this job in bulk.

As another option, my company (we are an IBM Business Partner specialising in OpenPages) sells an add-on product for OpenPages call Smart Actions.

Smart Actions would allow you to unlock records in a similar way to FastMap using a spreadsheet list of records to unlock, although the Smart Actions product can do very much more than this. We (and our customers) use Smart Actions for building most customisations as they can usually be built in hours instead of spending days or weeks writing Java code.

For more information please check the product page on our website: http://www.ccsl.uk.com/SmartActions.shtml

Having recently deployed Smart Actions I would have no hesitation in recommending CCSL's product. Vast range of uses; an essential part of the OP toolkit. (and no, I'm not on commission!)
