Good day:

I am trying to replicate data from a regular RDMBS to Kafka. Kafka support person told me that their Kafka platform do not have a Schema Registry enabled, so I understand that I have to provide a Java Class with an avro serializer, such as io.confluent.kafka.serializers.KafkaAvroSerializer (or something like that).

After providing and configuring IDR Agent to use an avro serializer, in Management Console, it will ask me for a schema registry host name and port.  Do I have to change something in order to let me pass without providing that hostname and password?  Can I provide any name and port and it will pass without checking connectivity?
