  • 1.  Can SQL scripts be run in Optim as Service?

    Posted Mon May 15, 2023 06:14 PM

    Dear all,

There are some tasks that I still need to do via SQL script, and I am wondering if it is possible to add this query to one service and be possible to run as a service.
Did anyone experience this situation and could help me? :)

    Kind Regards,
    Matheus

    Matheus,

It is possible to run SQL commands for most databases within certain Optim processes.  To do this, you would need to utilize the "Actions" tab on the process/service.  There are generally options to do the script before or after a process.  Each is slightly different.

Refer to the following link for information on managing the actions:  Managing Actions

    Hey, Jimmy!

Do you have an example of this use?
