This session will cover what's new in Db2 13 for z/OS and explore how Db2 Tools exploit new features of Db2 13. We will also review some of the new enhancements added to the Db2 Tools for both Db2 12 and 13. Finally, we will take a look at how we are enabling AIOps and Observability in Db2 Tools. Some of the highlights of this session include:

Bob Bersano began his career as a mainframe software developer back in 1986 and has worked with IBM Db2 since version 2.1. Bob has designed and developed many different enterprise Db2 tools handling data migration, log analysis, security and backup and recovery. Bob joined Rocket Software in 1995 as a Senior Software developer to design and code a new database backup and recovery product that would exploit fast replication technology. Bob is currently a Senior Solutions Advisor, working with Db2 customers worldwide. He is based in Chicago and is a graduate of the University of St. Francis with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science
