  • 1.  provide Container and storagepath info when asking for tablespace details

    In monitor views related to tablespces monitoring,  when asking for detail for a specific TAblespace, DMC could provide Containers and Storage-Path informations.  

    Storage ->  Tablespace Performance - > Details 

    Storage -> TableSpace Utilization -> Details 

    The current details information is just a vertical view of the current grid information. There is no additional detail infromation being provided ! :-( 

    When asking for details in a specific Tablespace I expect to see all relevent details about it.  specially container and storage path attributes. 
    In the header, tablespace ID must also be provided together with the tablespace name. 


    Maybe, a second column section at the right of the screen , to show container and storage path attributes, and maybe same monitor performance metrics as well  ,  related to them.

    Hi  Samuel,

    Thank you for your suggestion for DMC. Now only some info about the table space container is used for Availability Alert, and is not applied to Storage page. It would be great if you could open an RFE on the IBM Aha page :https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.aha.io/ to track the request. I will also create a git issue to track this.

    IBM dev team is interesting.. 

    you accept the idea..   you asked it to be officially documented in the aha system,   which I did..  but then the idea is rejected..  without any reason !! 
    IDEAS status has changed to "Not under consideration" 

    I can't see a strong reason for DMC not providing such important details   when you ask for "details"  on a given tablespace ! 

    Is that really asking too much ?
