Last year I raised JIRA ticket FSCMFGVCS-2204 (https://jsw.ibm.com/browse/GIFSCZMWSH-1878) for our DB2 team to investigate. We raised a ticket (TS006998481) with the lab (Rocket Software).
After an amount of testing I was able to get the password change process working when using the latest version of QMF v12.2 which was not then available in PC@IBM. Alma Gjina from Rocket Software said that IBM was in the process of replacing the current QMF v11.2 with QMF v12.2 at PC@IBM.
I see now that the version of QMF in PC@IBM is
12.2.0.5. I suggest installing this version and seeing if you can get the password change function to work.

I contacted the developers and here is the repy
"There is no limitation with password change on secure or non-secure port. It has worked fine for us when we last heard of a similar case. There seems to be something specific in the customer setup. Please request customer to raise a ticket & we can help."

Not to be negative, but I went that route a couple of years back, and was basically told it's not on the roadmap. Maybe another try will have more luck?

I am able to change password in QMF for Workstation when using an unsecure (not SSL encrypted) port, but when I try with a secure port I get the following error:
Is this a documented issue with QMF for Workstation? The QMF documentation details how to change password and does not mention that it is not available for secure ports. Is this likely to be resolved in the future? We need to use encrypted connections to comply with ITSS.
