You are already using version 2.3.4, so no special upgrade is required. Just stop the InfomrixHQ-server v2.3.4 jar and all the agents and follow the below process.
Steps how to run the new InformixHQ server and agent jar
1) Copy the existing h2db.mv.db as a backup in case something goes wrong. We always recommend that customers take a backup of the existing h2db.mv.db before upgrading to the new version of InformixHQ.
2) Now take the new version of InformixHQ-server v3.0.0 and run the jar file using the java -jar command with the existing h2db.mv.db.
3) With InformixHQ-server v3.0.0, we recommend customers use the latest version of the agent, InformixHQ-agent v3.0.0. We have introduced a new feature in v3.0.0 that requires the InformixHQ server and agent to be on the latest version.

Searching for Informix 14.10.FC11W1 i found Informix HQ v3.0.0 available and downloaded this HQ version. I went through the README files and it states that if you are already running Informix HQ v2.3.4, which is the version we have, then no upgrade special procedure is required. Still i cannot find any doc on how to install/upgrade to the new HQ v3.0.0.
I could stop v2.3.4 HQ server and test putting the HQ v3 files in a new directory and copy/adapt the v2.3.4 properties files, and copy h2-2.2.224.jar, h2db.mv.db and h2db.trace.db along the v3 files... but if you have better directions it would be much appreciated.
We also have Informix HQ v2.3.4 agents running along a number of Informix instances. Do i need to upgrade them to v3 after upgrading HQ Server v3 or these different versions of server in v3 and agents in v2.3.4 can work together ?
