I am a retired IBM IT consultant. I am asking about something which was routine in my business 20 & 30 years ago. I deal with two companies, one insurance, one internet provider. Both have abysmal customer service. What area of IBM handles marketing for solutions in that area? From online customer data to chat and other solutions for customer contact, validation of customer in contact, etc. The service unit in which I worked before retirement was in that businesses of providing enterprise data solutions for customer access. I was their marketing person.
