Hello Chris,
Even if you change the bootstrap file to the original, DMC still requires to have the https port open for the internal communication between its components.
If change the file back, the original 11081 port needs to be opened to be able to run the jobs.
Now, if you are using DMC V3.1.13 on a Linux platform, there is a known issue with DMC job server, and you will need to install the latest DMC V3.1.13.1.
If you still have the issue, please create a case with us, so we can take a look at the DMC Jobs server log files.
Thanks!

Hi Cintia,
Thanks for the reply! After some research I believe there is a restriction on HTTPS communication at the domain level (This is a Windows EC2 instance) that is causing the problem. I tried several different port combinations, but the https port never shows up as listening when I check the netstat -ao command. I have a query out to the network team to try to get their input.
In the meantime, I am concerned that I am no longer able to run jobs, and am wondering if there is a way to revert the console back to the original settings? If I replace the bootstrap file with the original would that revert the console or are there other steps required?
Thanks again,
Chris

It is funny because http does not require additional configuration steps like https.
I would make sure that all DMC ports are opened in your firewall. Here is the list of DMC ports:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2-data-mgr-console/3.1.x?topic=administering-modifying-db2-data-management-console-ports
Keep in mind that the internal DMC components use https to communicate with each other, so even if you are not using https, you need to have the https port open.
If you confirmed that all DMC ports are open and you still have the issue, please create a case so we can take a look at the DMC log files.

After going through the steps to setup HTTP access on DMC I am not able to access the console using https, getting a connection refused error. Also using HTTP I get an error when I go to the Jobs tab that says my connection is not secure and requires authentication. No id/password combination works and I am logged out of the system. All other tabs and functionality seems to still work? Is this a firewall issue? Any help would be appreciated.
