Hello,
Bruno is correct that BPM 8.5.6 is no longer supported. The next release, BPM 8.6, has an End of Support date of 9/30/2020 - in 33 days. Further, there will be no more BPM releases! You should be planning your migration to the follow-on product, Business Automation Workflow (which supports Oracle 12.2). You have no-charge entitlement to Business Automation Workflow via your BPM licenses.

Rao,
1) BPM 8.5.6 is no more supported (except if you have an extension support)
2) Oracle 12.2 is not supported with BPM 8.5.6 given the end of support of BPM 8.5.6. So any use of this Oracle version in BPM 8.5.6 is your responsibility.

Hi Sebastian,
Thank you for the update, I see it's not listed as supported in the list but do you think it's because of difference in release date of BPM 8.5.6 and ORACLE 12.2.0.x as 12.2.0.x were released after 8.5.6 was released.
Is there any way to support Oracle 12.2.0.x on BPM 8.5.6 without upgrading jdk/driver/WAS and in fact BPM itself to alteast 8.6.0 ??
thanks

BPM upgrade is needed to if you want to have supported environment.
Check table:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/708927
If your current environment is:
BPM 8.5.6 on Java 7 with JDBC driver ojdbc7.jar (and Oracle 12.1.0.X)
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFPJS_8.5.6/com.ibm.wbpm.imuc.doc/topics/tswitchjavaversion.html
First supported environment will be:
BPM 8.6.0 CF 2017.12 on Java8 with ojdbc8.jar (and Oracle 12.2.0.X ) + WAS interim fix PI86830
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFPJS_8.6.0/com.ibm.wbpm.imuc.doc/topics/tswitchjavaversion.html
So both JDK and JDBC driver should be changed during upgrade.
