    The countdown is ON! At the time of posting this thread, I think there are only 21 more sleeps until the IBM Champions and advocates start showing up in Las Vegas!! I am most looking forward to seeing all of you and meeting the advocates I've never met in person before!

    We have so much planned and I'm sure you do too! What are you most looking forward to at this year's conference? Tell Us!!

    Well first I feel grateful for this conference in several ways.  First for the opportunity to present twice and be part of a Modernization Lunch & Learn. Being a Champion and a presenter also enabled me to send three of our intermediate level mainframe engineers to their first IBM conference.  So in response to what I am most looking forward to, I would say it would be having these three rub elbows with Champions and other attendees and inspiring them to become advocates and ultimately Champions.

    First time attending as an IBM Champion.  I am looking forward to meeting those IBM Champions, and others who have helped me throughout my career in one way or another.  Great sessions with great speakers planned, making this a premier event for certain.

    I am looking forward to possibly meeting in person a good number of IBM Champions who have helped me in one way or another throughout my career.  Those who are friends and fellow champions, I can't wait to catch up.  The sessions offer so much and I'm certain there will be a lot of coin flipping on which to choose.

    First of all, I'll get to meet a lot of talented people I only know virtually, and that's on top of my list. Then, just being at TechXchange is filling me with excitement (Graeme did the hell of a job teasing it 😅); just being there as an IBM Champion promises to be epic! 🤘🏻

    2024 is quite an year so far. First year Champion, and now have the opportunity to meet you all face to face in Las Vegas!

    And challenged myself, doing a speaker session also first time [session 2091] no pressure there. Past Tuesday  the opportunity to rehearsal my session for a group of Dutch IBM'ers. And looking forward to learn and network with you all.

    As a first time Champion, I am looking very much forward to meeting as many IBM Champions as possible. 
    I believe I know several from conferences (virtual and live), but meeting in person is a whole different story, so I will make sure to be there on Sunday afternoon!

    Also, I am looking forward to finally presenting in person to the US community (sessions 1373, 3326)! Being based in Europe, I have not done this for several years.

    This will be my first time at the IBM TechXchange Conference, it promises to be an exciting event and I am particularly looking forward to:
     
    Learning more about AI (not just GenAI) and innovation on Z (hardware and software);
    Doing some hands-on labs;
    Networking and having the chance to meet other IBM Champions and fellow IT professionals/professionals.

    This will be my first time attending a LIVE IBM event as an IBM Champion! I am looking forward to meeting and learning from other champions and having my mind expanded (blown?) with new information, new viewpoints and new people!

    I am also looking forward with trepidation (and excitement) to presenting on two things I am passionate about (IBM Planning Analytics & Sustainability), and to seeing whether it resonates with anyone!
