    Hello wonderful community!

As we say good-bye to 2024, we are planning our quarterly advocacy calls for 2025.  Our advocacy calls always have a theme of "how to" --- in terms of advocating.  In 2024 we covered topics like: how to start a user group; how to submit a great conference abstract; how to start a podcast; and so on. Are there any topics you would like to see a refresh? Are there advocacy topics that might be new?

Our ears and eyes are open!!
    Tell us!

    Hello Kathryn,
Is connecting learning resources with advocacy a good topic? IBM can provide paid learning courses for advocates for free, and advocates could share courses they have accomplished on their social profiles.

I've been working on some notes on how to do effective technical sales enablement, but this is just from my own experience.

Maybe someone from IBM marketing could present on how IBM thinks we should (correctly?) advocate for IBM?  What works?  What doesn't?  What hacks does IBM teach its own tech sellers?

(We may not ultimately agree, but I think it would be educational.)

    Hi Kathryn,

I think it's always worth talking about posts/articles on LinkedIn. Since December, I have the impression that some algorithms have changed there, as some posts are now prioritized quite strangely.

    Best regards,
    Uwe

    Hi Kathryn,

Have you noticed how LinkedIn posts have been acting up lately? Since December, it feels like the algorithm's gone rogue, prioritizing posts in the strangest ways. It's always worth chatting about articles there, though-it keeps things fresh and helps us navigate these changes. Speaking of fresh ideas, how about exploring themes like building thriving online communities, using AI for advocacy, or measuring the impact of campaigns?

A little creativity can go a long way in this shifting LinkedIn environment.

    Best Regards
