 Setting the duration of maintenance message in the home screen of Cognos 11.2.4

Hi,

I have created a custom maintenance message on the home page of our Cognos 11.2.4 instance but the message disappears in a few minutes after log in and reappears on refresh of the browser. Is there a way to set the duration of the maintenance message for hours/days so that users easily read the message.

I set the message from Manage > people > accounts > Cognos namespace > (select particular role) > properties > Customization > Features .......................

We are upgrading to 11.2.4 and the message is crucial to help the users to easily use the new cognos environment.
