    in CA 11.1 R7 it's here:
    I don't know from which version on this feature has been added to CA...

    In CA 11.1 R4 the "Add a source" is not there !

    Is this a R7 addition?

    Might be the case. I was only looking through the release notes quickly but couldn't find he statement, when this feature has been added.

    Hi Dagur, this feature is dependend on the type of source also. It's available for FM Packages in DQM (Dynamic Query Mode) and Data Modules but not for FM Packages in CQM (Compatible Query Mode). This applies to relational data sources, I don't know about dimensional data sources.
