  • 1.  Home page doesnt have all the options

    Hi Team

    I am new to Cognos Analytics. I was surfing around it, but couldnt find the 'Upload File' button. It sees like I am missing a lot of options on my homepage like creating a report, as an example. The link I am using is - https://b03zcustwascl01.ahe.boulder.ibm.com/transform/cognitive/bi/?perspective=home

    Do I need some kind of access? It will be great if someone can share the link.

    Hello Monal,

    This could be due to the capabilities you have been assigned or it could be your browser. 

    IBM Cognos Analytics has security via capabilities that controls what activities you can perform. If you have not been granted those capabilities then you will not see them in your portal. You can ask your administrator to grant you additional capabilities.

    IBM Cognos Analytics will also only display those functions supported on the browser you are using. So check that you are using a fully supported browser to ensure you are seeing everything you have access to. https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity/index.html
