Hi Matthew,
Yes, we are absolutely planning hierarchy conditional formatting based on properties of member in the hierarchy (e.g all members with an attribute value greater than X should be bold with a red cell background. or, all leaf members in the hierarchy will have a blue font). This will be much simpler and faster than setting formats on each individual member in the hierarchy. The idea is that these condition formats will rules will stack on top of each other such that multiple rules could apply to the same row or column.

Stuart - are there plans to allow conditional formatting by an attribute on the row/column dimension? This alone would help so much with formatting.

Hi Glen,
It's not possible...yet. The 2024 Planning Analytics roadmap includes many additional enhancements to cube viewer formatting. This includes formatting options to set the background color of the cell based on the properties of the cell (e.g rule derived, consolidation). These sort of enhancement will appear in the new format manager interface (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-analytics/2.0.0?topic=wnibr2-use-new-format-manager-format-cube-views).

We want to be able to change the colors that are used for rule cells based on a global assumption, such as actual month should be Green, and budget months should be black. Does anyone know if it is possible to change these colors?
Thanks
