Maximo offers the ability to track the Message ID for messages processed through Publish Channels/Enterprise Services. This feature allows users to efficiently navigate and search messages in the Message Tracking Application using the Message ID.
How to Enable Message ID Tracking:
Step 1 : Navigate to Integration -> Enterprise Services/Publish Channels based on your configuration needs and select the respective record
Step 2 : Click on Message tracking from More Actions and look for the External Message ID Field
Step 3 : Create the XPATH Expression as below
/{http://www.ibm.com/maximo}SyncOS/{http://www.ibm.com/maximo}OSSet/{http://www.ibm.com/maximo}Object/{http://www.ibm.com/maximo}Identifier
Note : OS refers to Object Structure.
Step 4 : Populate the XPATH (created in Step 3) to the External Message ID Field (Step 3) and click on Ok
Expected Result:
After configuration, when a message transaction occurs through Publish Channels or Enterprise Services, the External Message ID will be populated with the respective Identifier for the messages in Message Tracking Application.

This feature would help the users to search using the Identifier within the Message Tracking Application and navigate to the desired message.
