With the release of Storage Virtualize version 8.7.3.x (and now also in the 9.1.0.x version), the display of pool capacities has changed.
Before 8.7.3.x, pool capacities were displayed as shown in the image below.

Next the new display method. I have used a (small) FS5300 as an example.

This screen provides general pool information such as name, provisioning policy, pool type, and the number of child pools. It also provides information about physical- and logical capacity.
For more information, go to the right side of the screen and click "View pool details."
As soon as you point your pointer at the i next to the description, you will receive additional information about the numbers.

However, it's still possible that you can't immediately place the various numbers or how they were calculated. That's why I'd like to provide some more information with the image below.

The 12.75 TiB (or decimal 14.03 TB) is the usable capacity of 6 x 4.8 TB FCMs after RAID settings are applied. The RAW capacity in this case is 26.19 TiB.
Provisioned capacity can be confusing because you might only see a few volumes and their associated capacity displayed in the GUI or CLI, and the total capacity doesn't equal the number on the screen. This number also includes volumes created for snapshots and change volumes.
You can also get this information (vdisks and capacity) using the CLI command lsvdisk -showhidden
Below you can see the difference in output between the lsvdisk and lsvdisk -showhidden command:

I hope this was somewhat illuminating.
If interested, we can also look into the capacity numbers of an SVC pool with an underlying Flashsystem pool.
