If you write code for embedded, real time, and other types of commercial software, Test RealTime is for you. We’ve just released the Test RealTime 8.0.2.1 fix pack, which you can download from FixCentral .
This fix pack provides a number of updates, including an improvement in the way labels are handled when determining block coverage. Labels are now regarded as the beginning of a block, which means that you can now get a more accurate view of the number of blocks covered compared with previous versions, which left some parts of the code as non-covered (a label following the end of a loop, for example).
This release also contains fixes for 21 other APARs, and a variety of internal fixes. You can find more information about these fixes in the Release Notes delivered with the product upgrade.
The Test RealTime Qualification Kit 8.0.2.1 will follow in February – watch out for an announcement in this Testing community.
Note: Qualification Kits are delivered under Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) that you can request today by creating a support request if you don't have one already.
