After completing this course, customers will:

• Have a clear understanding on what Costing Essentials is and the value it brings to their organization.
• Learn about the onboarding process and understand what data and mapping will be required during configuration.  
• Be introduced to Workbench where data can be enriched directly in the tool and familiarize themselves with month end and continuous improvement processes to ensure data accuracy.
• Discover the simplicity of Costing Essentials through easy navigation and the reports available supporting many common use cases.  

The IBM Apptio Costing Essentials Workbench Advanced course is designed to help customers understand how to use the Costing Essentials Workbench, which allows you to enrich data, eliminate data gaps, and manage allocation strategies through editable tables. Customers are encouraged to take this course throughout implementation. This advanced course will take two hours and twenty five minutes to complete. 

By the end of this course, customers will be able to: 

• Easily Navigate the different enrichment and mapping tabs throughout the Workbench. 
• Understand what data is needed from your organization during implementation. 
• Discover what fields can and cannot be edited from the different mapping sections within the Workbench, allowing you to manage your data directly in the solution. 
• Gain a basic understanding on how data enrichment and mapping affects expense categorization and reporting analysis.
