IBM and IDUG are teaming up to deliver a three-day IBM & IDUG Data Tech Summit at the home of Db2 for z/OS, IBM Silicon Valley Lab. The event takes place Monday, October 8th though Wednesday, October 10th 2018, in San Jose, California.

The summit is designed for Db2 professionals, architects, developers and data scientists and features four content tracks: two parallel Db2 for z/OS tracks, an analytics and machine learning track, and application development track.

The summit features sessions delivered by IBM lab experts such as John Campbell, Terry Purcell, Chris Crone, Haakon Roberts, and Jeff Josten.

Topics for the 75 sessions include:

  • The latest news about Db2 12, including migration experiences, performance tips, z14 synergy, and more.
  • Client success and cost saving strategies with Db2 for z/OS.
  • The latest news about Db2 Analytics Accelerator and QMF.
