We recently published a sample Db2 software services template. As a service provider, you can use it to create services (DBaaS) to rapidly provision from scratch one or multiple standalone Db2 subsystems, in IBM Cloud Provisioning and Management for z/OS.
The sample Db2 software services template is intended for service providers, who configure and make the Db2 system provisioning services available to the consumers of the service in their shops.

Experienced system programmer service providers configure and make the Db2 system provisioning services create services available to the consumers of the service in their shops, through various interfaces.
Services created from the sample template provision non-data-sharing Db2 12 for z/OS subsystem instances in a “typical Db2 configuration” with all the Db2-supplied stored procedures installed and verified. The services can also be configured to enable Db2 REST services, to enable and verify ODBC, and to add JDBC local and remote connections, all in less than 15 minutes. The created service can also later deprovision the provisioned Db2 subsystems.
For more information, about the configuration of the provisioned subsystems, see "About the sample Db2 software service template".
For a detailed instructions, and to download the sample Db2 software services template, see the GitHub repository: https://github.com/IBM/Db2ZTools/tree/master/DevOps/Db2SystemServices/Db2ProvisionSystemNonDS
