The IBM FlashSystem policy-based HA feature relies on properly functioning partnership connections as well as an online partnership quorum application.   The 2025 Q4 (9.1.1) IBM FlashSystem management GUI improves status reporting by adding information about partnership quorum applications.   Prior to this change, the GUI only reported whether a particular partnership is fully configured and functioning properly.   However, even with a properly configured partnership, an offline partnership quorum application can cause disruptions in the high availability status of a HA partition.    In order to help storage administrators achieve faster diagnosis of a malfunctioning partnership quorum application, the GUI shows the status in several places.

The System Health section of the dashboard now includes a new Partnership Quorum application tile that highlights any problems with a configured partnership quorum application.

The partnership tile on the Settings -> System -> Partnerships page now includes a notification that highlights a problem with the partnership quorum application.  The notification shows connectivity issues with the quorum application even if the actual partnership is working normally.

Both the above notifications provide a link to lead the storage administrator to the relevant event, through which a fix procedure can be executed to resolve the problem with the partnership quorum application.   In conclusion,  the addition of status for the partnership quorum application makes it simpler for storage administrators to discover and fix HA related problems due to partnership quorum applications.
