The FMMUG Workshop and Annual Conference 2016 Call for Speakers is now open, and we want you to submit your presentation.

We are looking for end users and IBM speakers to share best practices, real-world examples, and technical expertise. Selected speakers will be an important part of our community, offering attendees networking, education and in-depth technical knowledge.

Benefits of speaking:
Speakers who present a session at FMMUG WAG may be eligible for one full conference pass valued at $375 USD.

Keys to a successful application:

Show measurable results
There is a big difference between saying "This worked for us" and "We achieved a 35% return on investment." Measurable results are a great way to communicate your strategies to your audience.

Use real-life examples
There is no substitute for first-hand experience. Audiences love to hear directly from people who have implemented winning strategies, including lessons learned.

Avoid sales pitches
Our goal is to educate our audience, so infomercials are not well received.  Audiences want to learn how to be successful; if that success includes a mention of a specific product or service, then great.

Be original and timely
Attendees are eager to hear the latest advancements and appreciate your unique perspective

Explain the big picture
Your presentation may focus on a specific aspect of a solution, but it will likely impact other areas of your organization. Tell us how you integrated with other tools and collaborated with other IT organizations or partners.

Titles: descriptive and catchy
Increase your appeal and help your audience quickly gauge your presentation focus. Include product and solution names in session titles or abstracts to aid searches.

Contribute your company's story to the body of knowledge shared. Sessions will demonstrate how organizations use IBM Maximo to enhance and improve their operations, while providing unprecedented networking, education and deep-dive technical certification.

Additional benefits include networking opportunities with fellow facilities peers, business partners, and IBM staff. Also, the speaker and company names will be promoted on line, with the ability to distribute your presentation for publication.
