We are excited to introduce the new Db2 for z/OS and its ecosystem Customer Newsletter to bring you timely and relevant information that is important for Db2 users to be aware of. The Db2 for z/OS ecosystem is comprised of Db2 for z/OS, Db2 Analytics Accelerator, Data Gate for watsonx, Data Gate for z/OS, Db2 AI for z/OS, SQL Data Insights, Data Virtualization Manager for z/OS, Db2 Developer Extension, Db2 Administration Foundation, SQL Tuning Services, the Db2 for z/OS tools.

Each edition highlights important announcements, new releases, blogs, papers, and upcoming educational opportunities and customer events. The newsletter showcases the important new capabilities being delivered to the Db2 for z/OS community and how they can benefit your business needs. 

The first two editions of the newsletter are available in the IBM Db2 for z/OS and its ecosystem community library. The 4th quarter 2024 edition covers releases and announcements from October through December 2024, and the March edition covers releases and announcements from January and February 2025.

There are two ways to make sure you don’t miss new editions: look out for posts in the World of Db2 and its ecosystem LinkedIn group or join the IBM Db2 for z/OS and its ecosystem community and make sure you have your notifications turned on! With notifications turned on, you’ll receive an email when a new newsletter has been posted, as well as other new additions to the IBM Community site.
